Fountain&Gardens

Zacatin's Fountain&Gardens

The east wall looks to the Gardens of Zacatín, where the Arco del Puente, the drinking troughs and the back of the rest of the buildings of the square, form one of more interesting architectonic complexes of Madrid.

It has been used as stage for innumerable films and multitude of TV series.

The Orchards’s Fountain&Gardens

Water drainage is from 1616 and the construction of the box and drinking trough is from 1779. It was restored in 1992, deserving a special mention in II Biennial of Architecture.

The gardening of the zone, with the stone pavening of all the setting, forms a space of quiet beauty, completed with the new San Isidro’s Hermitage.
